Information Technology Subcommittee

The Information Technology Subcommittee of the EHOPAC has been formed to provide coordination for the use of Information Technology by the EHOPAC. Current activities include the maintenance of the EHOPAC Website, as well as the starting an EHOPAC LISTSERV. The EHOPAC is committed to continuing to make use of new technologies that improve our ability to communicate with the members of the EHO Category and other Enviromental Health Professionals throughout DHHS.

Submitting a posting

Submitting a posting? Learn more about the IT Subcommittee's guidelines:

  1. Check for spelling and syntax errors.
  2. Verify all hyperlinks. (Note: please remove (if applicable) any links to websites outside CONUS).
  3. Remove all embedded computer code (JavaScript, JScript, PHP, CSS, macros, SQL, etc).
  4. Remove all animated graphics.
  5. Convert documents and spreadsheets to the portable document format (PDF).
  6. Scan all submissions for malware.
  7. Split large files (> 5 MB) into smaller files (each no larger than 5 MB).
  8. Video files are not currently accepted.
  9. Please provide the date you wish the posting added to the website, as well as date to remove it (if applicable).

Once a submission is provided to the IT Subcommittee, the submission(s) will be reviewed and if approved, posted by the next regular web update (often weekly).
