  • Enters data into the environmental health reporting system, generates reports, and compiles basic statistical data for program planning.

Facility types include food service, childcare, Head Start, Schools, healthcare, detention, water, sewer, lodging, recreational, casino, and other institutional and community establishments.
• Independently conducts professional Environmental Health (EH) training and presentations on general Environmental Health EH topics, infection control, occupational safety, and community injury prevention topics for tribal and IHS audiences.
• Develops and maintains cooperative relationships with tribal, local, state, and federal programs concerned with environmental health issues.
• Technical writing used to write up survey reports, public health incident investigations, and responding to client requests through e-mail.
• At the direction of the Sr. Environmental Health Specialist, assesses public health needs, conducts planning activity, and implements a community-orientated environmental health and injury prevention program.
