DUTIES: At the full performance level, you will:

  • Review and evaluate scientific data from acute, subchronic and chronic carcinogenicity, developmental, reproductive, genotoxicity and metabolism studies.
  • Extrapolate data from laboratory animals or other study types to identify possible human effects; review human monitoring data.
  • Assess validity of data and determine utility of results for extrapolation to human and animal risk assessment. Evaluate the database and select endpoints for human health risk assessment.
  • Attend meetings with registrants, academia, scientist, international or domestic organizations, representations of other government regulatory agencies or branches and/or divisions and represent Division as a senior toxicologist/pharmacologist.
